why should we celebrate valentines day

Today in Maldives and many other muslim countries indulge in many alien cultural practices, they dont no what they are celebrating. On feburuary 14th most of our loving brothers and sisters celebrate this day what they called "Valentine's Day". Flower shops, gift shops are full because of this evil practise

Consider Valentine's Day, a day after dying out a well deserved death in most Europe - but surviving in Britain and the USA has suddenly emerge on a tiny coral inslands in Maldives.

Valentine's Day began as a pagan ritual started by Romans in the 4th century BCE to honour Lupercus, the ‘god of fertility and flocks’. Its main attraction was a lottery held to distribute young women to young men for ‘entertainment and pleasure’ - until the next year’s lottery.

So my dear brothers and sisters please be wise and listen what our muslim scholars said. "A Muslim is a Muslim for life. During joys and sorrows, during celebrations and sufferings, we must follow the one straight path - not many divergent paths."

Talk about Islam, Muslim, Religion and Straight Path, I can't figure out why you have this.

I just don't think we should have a say about the prophets cartoons because we are in no terms close to the truth. The path or paths that we should lead aren't depicted by the Islam religion (God doesn't play dice). It's from the free will that god privileged us with that we choose which Path we should lead.

HHAHAHAHA!!

Damn that was a good link.

After reading that i remembered something my islam teacher said years ago about April Fools Day. Basically he said that it was the result of the Christian Jewish Conspiracy To Fool Muslims And Islam(TM). And that we should never celebrate it
